Vacuums with an efficient filter can contain allergens and prevent them escaping back into the room.. Grit isn’t dragged across the floor.
Let’s get started!.Step 1: Remove The Dust Bin.
The first step is to remove the Multi Mk2’s dust bin from the main body of the vacuum..Unlike many vacuum cleaners, there isn’t a latch or button that you need to press.Instead, you can just pull it away from the rest of the vacuum.. You might need to wiggle the bin slightly to get it to come away.
Sometimes the Multi Mk2’s bin is a bit stiff, due to it not having a latch system..Step 2: Take the Gtech Bin to an Outdoor Bin.
You can technically empty the Gtech Multi Mk2 into any bin.
recommend emptying a bagless vacuum cleaner into an outdoor bin (if possible)..Allow at least 24 hours for the filter to fully dry.. Once dry, place the filter back into the housing, then replace inside the dust cup..
However, you may want to perform the next step before replacing the filter..The instructions above are for a cordless Dirt Devil.
Many corded upright Dirt Devil vacuums have two filters, so you may need to clean the exhaust filter too (although check the manual to ensure that it’s washable.).Cleaning other Dirt Devil filters is similar, but make sure you read your instruction manual to ensure you’re using the right method.
